Transformation and its canes in Ibn Khaldun's View

Asst. prof. Dr. Khamees Gharbi

JOURNAL OF HISTORICAL & CULTURAL STUDIES an academic magazin, Volume 9, Issue 28, Pages 95-139

Transformation, change, modification, death and mortality are steady common sense. It is impossible to overcome transformation and change. Things do not stay constant and human society is no exception from these divine laws. Human society faces transformation and goes through changes, which cause alterations in its generation, one after another. These laws apply not only on nature but are also part of social life.
Transformation, however, is not merely ideas, thoughts or logos but is always linked with the necessity of comprehending and understanding social transaction. Researchers in the phenomena of transformation find it one of the most hardest and finest issues in human social history because it deals with people's feelings and touches the roots of their habits.
Furthermore, consistency in issues that people have gotten accustomed makes transformation difficult and tricky, as it relates to a clear and obvious difference between a former and later situation which, in turn, leads to alteration of social norms. The concept of transformation is evident in the realization of life and that it is in continuous motion, similar to the evident truth that humanity is not static and is not at rest. Humanity transforms and moves from one state to another, with no consideration to what people want.
Transformation is inevitable in Ibn Khaldun's view. This so not only in the mares of Transformation but also in it's length Accordingly، Transformation has its reasons and causes، reasons and causes، especially in soaid and financial areas. this is found to be vitally important in the Arabic heritage of Transformation.
